Kit - Egg Collector (Pattern and Floss), by Teresa Kogut

$39.00

Think Spring! I am loving this lady bunny in pink who is collecting her festive eggs off the tree. Stately golden brick home, fun alphabet, beautiful color palette, black crow. Great for Aida as well  You could change up the “Spring” wording with your last name, Easter, a design,or anything, really.

Stitch count 177x 177

Listing includes pattern and called-for floss.

Design would be beautiful on LFA linens in Popover, Schooner or I think even Nor’Easter for a completely different look!

LFA Linens/Aida - Schooner
from $37.00

Beautifully hand-dyed cross-stitch fabric by Sue of LFA Linens/Legacy Fiber Arts.

Schooner was our April colorway for the 2022 LFA Linens Club, now available to everyone.

Sue dyed this colorway to act as a beautiful cheery neutral - for both samplers and also for more modern pictorial designs. The base is a soft buttermilk cream with shades of golden honey mottled throughout.

Use the “Cross Stitch Calculator” button in this listing to calculate if your project will fit the linen/Aida sizes offered. Thank you Yarn Tree for this wonderful calculator!

Linen and Aida Sizing Information:

Because the dyeing process involves heat and water, fabric shrinking does occur. The following cuts are the industry standard sizing prior to dyeing. I find most hand-dyed linens shrink about an inch or two either way. The Aida does not tend to shrink much at all. Linen and Aida have different Fat Half and Fat Quarter sizes due to their different bolt sizes.

Linen Sizes:
Yard = 36” x 55”
FH = Fat Half = 36” x 27.5”
FQ = Fat Quarter = 27.5” x 18”

Aida Sizes:
FH = Fat Half = 20” x 36”
FQ = Fat Quarter = 18” x 20”

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND:

Sue’s beautiful fabric is hand-dyed in individual batches with lots of care and creativity, which makes it impossible to have two pieces look exactly alike. But you already probably know that, and that is why you are looking to purchased hand-dyed fabric in the first place!

I do my best to photograph the yarn in natural light to best show off the colors, but all screens display color differently. If you ever want to video chat “live” to see the fabrics even better, contact me at rachel@treehousefiberarts.com to set up a Facetime or zoom conference call.
